Punakha Drubchen and Tschechu
Punakha Drubchen is a unique festival which host dramatic recreation of scene from the battle with the Tibetans in the 17th century.
Punakha Tshechu consist of mask dances with other cultural program and the five day event is mainly dedicated to Mahakala.

Day 1: Arrival to Paro international airport
Upon arrival your guide and driver will meet greet you right outside the airport with Tashi Khadar, traditional way of receiving our guest and drive to Thimphu.
On the way visit iron bridge built by Thang Thong Gyalpo and then visit Thimphu Tashichodzong in the evening.
Day 2: Thimphu sightseeing
Visit Simply Bhutan Museum, watching local dances and old artefacts, playing archery.
National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Third king Jigme Dorji Wangchuck and monument to world peace.
Buddha Dordenma, a gigantic statue overlooking Thimphu valley.
Bhutan Postal Museum, to get your own personalised stamps.
Traditional paper making factory, which is only few minutes drive from Thimphu city.
Motithang Takin preserve, for Bhutan’s national animal “Takin”.

Day 3: Hike to Tango and Cheri Monastery
Hike to Tango monastery takes 1–2 hours and we have the option of taking pack lunch on your hike.
Next we will hike to Cheri monastery which is an hour hike.
Institute for Zorig Chusum, where Bhutanese students undergo six years training on 13 arts and craft of Bhutan.
Visit local farmhouse for dinner and mingle with the locals.

Day 4: Drive Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha is around 2 hours usually, on the way we will make a stop at Dochula Pass, 108 Druk Wangyel Chorten which was built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Indian militants.
Punakha Dzong, the palace of bliss or great happiness is arguably the most beautiful dzong in the country.
Suspension bridge, probably the longest suspension bridge in the country offering amazing view of Punakha valley.
The fertility temple, also known as Chimi lhakhang is located at Sopsokha village. A short hike through paddy field is very scenic and takes around 45mins to reach the temple.
Punakha Festival, we will make a visit to the festival and watch mask dances and other cultural programs.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro
Drive to Paro is around 3 hours. In paro we will visit Paro Ringpung Dzong, which houses both monastic body and administrative office.
National museum, also known as Ta dzong served as watch tower and now houses the national museum.
Kichu Lhakhang, built in the 7th century and one of the oldest temple in Bhutan.

Day 6: Drive to Haa valley via Chelela Pass
Drive to Haa vallley is around 3–4 hours, on the way we will visit Chelela pass which is the highest point sitting at 3988m above sea level.
we will visit lhakhang Karpo, white temple and lhakhang nagpo, black temple
we will return back to Paro or halt at local homestay or resorts/hotels depending with your requirements.
Day 7: Paro Tiger’s Nest
Today we will trek to Tiger’s nest also known as Paro Taktsang which is around 5–6 hours trek and its one of the must do things while you are in Bhutan.
Relax in the evening with good Hotstone bath
if you are interested to visit pubs, arrangements shall be done accrodingly. Please let us know in advance.

Day 8 : Depart Paro
